Following the success of the Accountex exhibition in London, which is set for another record edition when it opens this week, organiser Diversified Communications UK has announced the launch of Accountex Summit North.

The new event will take place at Manchester Central on 6 March 2018.

The launch follows feedback from exhibitors and accountants, who would like to see a regional event with the same high profile content as Accountex but one which is easier (more accessible) for accountants throughout the north to attend.

Commenting on the announcement, Zoe Lacey-Cooper, event director of Accountex says: “We’re very excited to bring the best of Accountex to accountancy professionals in the north.  This free one-day conference will feature an exciting Keynote speaker programme, helping visitors to benefit from real-time insights from their fellow professionals and industry leaders.

“Topics will include making tax digital, technology, cloud, pensions, pricing, plus every other subject relevant to the modern accountant.  In addition, dedicated break-out theatres will cover the latest trends and hot topics in more interactive sessions for visitors.

“Whilst Accountex Summit North will adopt a different format from the established London event, it will harness the previous experience, vital connections and extensive knowledge within the accountancy and finance profession.  We’re delighted that it has already garnered overwhelming support from our important key associations, partners and organisations,” she says.

Accountex Summit North is free to attend and expected to attract around 1,000 carefully-targeted accountancy professionals.  Refreshments and a light lunch will be provided to delegates free of charge.  Places at all Keynotes and seminars will be allocated on a first come first served basis – tickets can be pre-ordered for free when registering.
