[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]You will have heard of the term cryptocurrency, but what does it mean?

Accountex will get you up to speed on all things crypto, on the 11-12 of May at ExCeL London. It is Europe’s definitive event for accountancy and finance professionals, with over 9,000 attendees and 250 global brands and start-ups.

This year the spotlight is on fintech, and the programme has been curated to feature sessions and exhibitors who are already thriving in the cryptocurrency space. Over the two days you will receive support and insight, so you and your clients can invest in confidence and build a successful crypto portfolio.

To understand this complex industry, Accountex’s free, CPD accredited education programme includes a session from thought-leader Ketan Makwana, Chairman of Seventy7 Ventures on ‘The Future of Finance with Crypto Assets,’ on May 11 2022 at 1pm – 1:45pm at Keynote A Theatre. In this talk, he will explore the world of digital assets – Crypto, Blockchain and NFTs, and how they are the future of finance and are already making an impact in global economies.

On the second day of Accountex, Jason Steedman, Director at Steedman Chartered Certified Accountants who also specialises in working with crypto/blockchain companies, will be taking the stage for his talk ‘Crypto & Blockchain Accounting – Understanding the Real Challenge’ on May 12 2022 at 10.15am – 10.45am at the Practice Innovation Theatre. The presentation will cover the lesser known, unexpected and constantly evolving challenges for accountants when tackling crypto currency and digital asset accounting and tax advisory problems.

Crypto focused exhibitors include Dacxi, who were the first in the world to use the innovation of blockchain to provide access to investment grade assets via their Crypto Wealth Platform. They also offer CPD accredited crypto education to consumers and professionals.

For making tax obligations simple, the CryptoTaxCalculator platform uses tools to help identify, track and organise crypto activity across hundreds of exchanges and blockchains.

Recap also make crypto taxes painless, as they help accountants calculate crypto tax positions for their clients, with their app.

Whilst Request finance make is easy for you to manage and track crypto invoices, salaries, and expenses in a compliant way.

You can apply for your free ticket to visit Accountex at ExCeL London on 11-12 May 2022 here.
