These scholarships are awarded to students demonstrating a strong commitment to pursuing a career in accountancy or auditing, providing them with full financial support to achieve the AIA professional qualification.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<div class=\"row\">\n<div class=\"col-sm-12\">\n<div class=\"umb-grid\">\n<div class=\"grid-section\">\n<div class=\"container\">\n<div class=\"row clearfix\">\n<div class=\"col-md-8 column\">\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The deserving winners of this year\u2019s scholarships are Shantelle Malcolm from Jamaica, Michael Jefferson Nelson from Ghana, and Tony Li from the United Kingdom. Each has exhibited exceptional passion, drive, and a keen willingness to learn, traits that are essential for success in the accountancy profession.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Shantelle Malcolm, Jamaican scholarship winner<\/span>,<span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0said of the opportunity, \u201cHaving been selected as a candidate for the Commonwealth scholarship<\/span>,<span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0I know I will be developing skills that will enable me to advance my career.\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">I recognise the responsibility entrusted to me<\/span>,<span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0and I&#8217;m dedicated to using this scholarship to drive positive change and advance the principles of integrity, transparency, and professionalism in my organisation.&#8221;<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Michael Jefferson Nelson, the winner from Ghana, said, \u201cReceiving this scholarship from AIA is an incredible honour. As someone deeply passionate about accounting and auditing, this opportunity is not just a stepping stone<\/span>,<span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0but a pivotal moment in my career. I am grateful for their confidence in my potential and their commitment to nurturing future International Accountants. This scholarship is more than just financial support; it is a validation of my dedication and a catalyst for my aspirations in accounting, and for this, I am grateful.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Jane Steele, AIA Qualifications Manager, expressed her congratulations, \u201cWe are immensely proud of Shantelle, Michael, and Tony. Their enthusiasm for their future careers in accountancy is truly inspiring. These scholarships are testament to their potential, and we are excited to see how their journey unfolds. Congratulations to all!! AIA is dedicated to driving lasting change within the global accountancy landscape.
